Stefano De Fraia successfully completed his 5-year Dental Technician Program (1987-1992) at the Giacomo Casanova school in Naples, Italy. During his last two study years, he had the opportunity to work as an apprentice in one of the most renowned dental laboratories of south Italy, where he gained profound understanding for proper Treatment Planning, Diagnostic Evaluation, and Temporarization. After several years of dedication learning the fundamentals, De Fraia received his degree and entered the workforce in 1992, becoming more involved in complex applications like designing and fabricating proper framework, metal ceramic rehabilitation and understanding more about metallurgy. He follows the principles of Poltz and Shulz, to name a few, in regards to the harmony of the bio-mechanical balance of the human Masticatory system function and equilibrium. He relocated to Seattle, Washington (USA) where he had the opportunity to work with an elite group of clinicians led by Professor Richard V. Tucker. After collaborating with a small group of professionals in Seattle, he decided to relocate his Laboratory to South Florida, becoming more involved with another incredible group of dentists stemming from the Seattle Study Group with his participation in the treatment planning of Orthognathic cases, full mouth rehabilitation, implants, telescopic fixed and removable prosthetics, and other complex dental appliances. Stefano De Fraia Frangipane is the proud owner of De Fraia Dental Studio in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
